I don’t think you can ask for a better example than this.

It looks like the front end has been buggered at some point. Notice how the front bumper lines up.

Kinja'd!!!

That would also explain why the passenger side headlight looks polished/newer.

Not a deal breaker but something to look for.

Yeah I’ve been getting notifications for SC400s and I saw this one. Looks nice, though unfortunately my priorities are shifting a bit.

looks more like the hood bump stops aren’t lined up, check out the shut lines above the headlights themselves.

Also could have been parked with the afternoon sun hitting one headlight and not the other.

Also, just from the pictures the front bumper looks a different shade of white possibly.

Looks like not a big deal at all. Why do you guys nit pick these cheap ass cars so much. if your buying an old car like this I assume your going to be restoring it or building it into a drift car or somthing... If not go buy a daily and move on.

when you start in on a BIG project, you want to start out with the nicest example that you can find/afford.

it isnt a matter of tearing apart someone else’s car to say “its crap look at all the dings and scratches”. its about going into a project knowing full well that the core support might be tweaked, and that could also lead to front end alignment hassles.

its more about knowing how much potential work is waiting under the bodywork BEFORE you begin to do the work/project that you WANTED to do.

sometimes its easier to wait for a nicer, cheaper car to show up.......

As I said not a deal breaker just pointing out something to look for in case somebody did end up checking it out. It’s called being observant. This is not a car I’d buy, I buy cars I can fix up and make money off of, and even so I like to be aware of everything before I jump into it, especially the possibility of previous accidents.

And sorry pal, I’m not going to take advice from somebody with an rx7 with a fart can, who talks about “drifting”.

I was a bit of a dick I suppose. But I’m sick of reading shit like that on Oppo so much lately. It’s Oppo, some of us still buy cheap/old/weird/too far gone cars and fix them up, that’s what Jalopnik/Oppo seemed to be all about when I first started reading. Now it’s always “just go buy a daily.” “Take it to a shop.” Not a great way to encourage budding enthusiasts.

No worries.

Im just another dick with an opinion on the Internet. Take my words with a grain of salt.
